Arrange Collection with a Reliable Courier

Consider Whether you Need to Remove the Battery
When shipping a laptop to some destinations, such as Australia, you must remove the lithium battery completely from the shipment. For most other destinations, you must leave the lithium battery within its casing. Note that one lithium battery only is permitted per international shipment.
Place the Laptop in its Original Packaging
Ideally, you want to first place the laptop in the box it was sold in, together with any protective packing such as moulded cardboard or polystyrene. If you no longer have the original packaging, choose a box only slightly larger than the laptop and make sure you protect the laptop with several layers of padding, such as bubble wrap.
Secure the Original Packing
Once the laptop box has been appropriately padded out you can go ahead and seal this box with parcel tape or duct tape. You can then wrap the box itself in some extra protective packaging material.
Place the Original Packaging in a Larger Box
Next, you must locate a larger box into which the original retail box can be placed. This larger box should be a double-walled shipping box. You should suspend the retail box inside the larger box using protective packaging on all sides, such as sturdy cardboard, polystyrene or lots of packaging peanuts.
Don’t Forget About Laptop Accessories
Wrap any laptop accessories such as laptop adaptors in their own layer of bubble wrap and place into the package for shipping.
Include Shipping Information and Contact Details
It is a good idea to place shipping information and contact details within the package in case labels detach from the outside of the box.
Secure the Outer Box
Close up the outer box with plenty of tape. Also use tape to strengthen the sides and corners of the outer box.
Attach All Necessary Shipping and Customs Labels
Print out your shipping labels and make sure they are attached securely to your package, as well as any necessary customs information.
Pass the Shipment on to the Courier
